After a complete thyroidectomy, can a thyroid grow back? Can thyroids re grow? |

I was under the inpression they did that is why they usually took part of it during the surgery. Now I am not sure because they being the drs. I spoke with say only the liver will return. I am totally baffled and cannot wait to hear the answer. I thought my had returned but was told they do not. Hope this helps with your problem.
