Can i use preperation h ointment, it says in the ask a doctor before use section if u have thyroid disease and have an over active thyroid I take levothyroxine for my thyroid so can i use preperation h? |

Consult with your doctor first, what may seem as minor over the counter medication may possibly interfere with any medications you are currently taking. In the end there may be no cause for alarm, but it always better to be safe than sorry. Depending on your relationship with your doctor, you may be able to just send him/her and email or give them a quick phone call.
