Can lack of thyroids cause weight ? About 8 years ago i had my thyroids remove because of cancer. but sence then i've gain 50 pounds. can that cause me to gain so much weight |

Are you taking Synthroid? You may need to have your levels checked to make sure your dosage is correct. There may be other medications you are taking as well that might be contributing to your weight gain.
The best thing to do is have a complete physical, get your hormones levels tested---ideally by an endocrinologist, and see what the doctor says.
If everything checks out OK, it may just be a matter of good old exercise and watching what you eat!
