Recovery for something like that is probably about 3 to 6 months in any given surgery sometimes it might take longer depending on how bad the organ is that was removed so i would not hurry a situation like that because you could do more harm then good

It has been 3weeks sinc my thyroid surgery my voice havenrecovered and cant make it thru the day eiher

My mom didn't have any problem with it, she recovered quickly and w/out a scar. Everyone's time frame for recovery will vary though depending on their general health, their surgeon and a myriad of other factors.

Doctor had told me a few weeks. Well a few weeks i was at 30% of were i was before the surgery. took about 2 months before i really got most of my voice back and increased energy levels. I had my entire Thyroid removed and it has been almost a year and i am just getting back my MoJo. It takes several months for your voice to get back to were it was. i had stynosis of the tracea from the anastesia tube.. that is still not 100% yet but i can now function throughout my day without any major slow downs.I would say that after a year and finally regulating my Synthroid intake you should be at 90% like me. But i am cancer free. and as i look back at a difficult year as far as energy and fatigue it was worth it. Good luck. Stay on top of your synthroid and blood work.
