In pain 3 months after gallbladder removal Had my gallbladder removed December 2010 lapy. Since then i have had pain in right side which can get really sore. I have had an ultra sound which showed up nothing. Then went for a colonoscopy which has showed i have ibs but during this i was in agony when they got near the right side. The pain is so intense at times. It is on right side which shoots round the back and also down to the groin at times it feel like i have still got my gallbladder. I also have very little appetite or energy really tired all the time. I also have under active thyroid pernicious anemia and hiatus hernia. Can anybody help with this as i am going of my head |

It sounds like you may have adhesions. This is where skin inside, especially after surgery, grows together where it's not suppoded to.
I had this after my hysterectomy, but it eventually quit hurting. Adhesions can be very painful.
You need to ask your doctor, and see if this could be a possibility.
They can repair it if they have to, but it means more surgery.
