Are you seeing an endocrinologist? That is a doctor who specializes in diseases of the thyroid. You should be checked to make sure your hormone levels and Vit. D levels are in balance. If a medication is causing you chest pains, notify the doctor who prescribed it right away. Also, make sure to ask your doctor if your should have followup ultrasounds on your thyroid, and how often to have them.
