Thyroid surgery Why after three week after thyroid surgery my voice havnt return to nomal .why can't i drink thin liqiuds |

Your recovery time depends on how much thyroid tissue was removed. It is possible your voice has not returned to normal because of the anesthesia tubes during the surgery. I believe you should be able to drink liquids, although it may still be painful. My advice is to contact the doctor who did your surgery and let him know you are having difficulties and ask him to explain what to expect. He may want to examine you.
